This new build £390M development created over 1,000 construction jobs and would boast a 60,000 seater capacity stadium.

We were initially engaged midway through the contract to support the main M&E sub-contractor, Imtech G&H, as London was suffering from labour shortages due to other iconic projects demanding high levels of labour resource including Wembley Stadium, Terminal 5 and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.

We quickly engaged with the project delivery team to identify their needs and employed a recruitment strategy with a personal touch. Employment was offered to the local Highbury and Islington community to offer local employment and upskilling to the local borough, before expanding our search to the wider London and national community.

M&E Trades, semi-skilled and unskilled workers were supplied to the projects main M&E sub-contractor as well as other specialist sub-contractors installing the PA systems and fire alarms. The total number of temporary operatives supplied was in excess of 150 workers.

All candidates were met off site by our highly skilled recruitment professionals and led into the site inductions before commencing work. We personally feel it’s that extra personal touch of meeting and greeting our workers that sets us apart from our competition.
