Production Team Leader

£35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Pension + Holiday

This company is a leading manufacturer of mechanical products supplying a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth and investment, they are now looking to recruit a Production Team Leader to support and drive performance on the shop floor.
In this role you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a production team to ensure output, quality, and safety targets are consistently met. You will work closely with planning, engineering, and quality teams to optimise processes, improve efficiency, and ensure production schedules are achieved.
The Person
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Background in engineering or manufacturing preferred
The Role
- Lead and supervise a production team on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are met
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support training and development of team members
