The Account Manager/Sales Rep is primarily focused on customer retention, new business development and success. The ideal candidate is extremely well organized, level-headed, urgent, and possesses a desire to protect client relationships. We're looking for positive energy and a contagious attitude that matches well with our company's culture and would be admired by our clients.

The Account Manager/Sales Rep ensures that quality standards are met and that account customers are satisfied through proactive communication and learning to anticipate challenges that could arise in any project. The person we hire will be a liaison between the company and client, advocating for the customer, recognizing how decisions effect the big picture, and how those decision translate into the trust of the client bottom line.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

All pre-sale activities including:

Receive and evaluate new site information from customer
Manage municipality code checks/code verification
Managing information submitted to design engineer
Review pre-sale submittals to be sent to client for approval and request revisions
Manage estimating following client approval of submittals
Review documents and create comprehensive information to be handed to project manager upon client approval
Conduct kick off meetings with project management team and client
Maintain Smartsheet tracking by account through presale activity, including future projects not in submittal stage
Conduct weekly or biweekly Smartsheet review conference calls with each account
Attend client national franchise meetings, conventions, and quarterly office visits (at a minimum)
Maintain vendor network including evaluation of installation vendors' performance
Manage follow up with project management team-close out surveys to client following completions of projects

Requirements:

Minimum of five years of sign industry experience with positive client references
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
Ability to translate architectural and sign fabrication drawings including sign attachment details
Experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw is a plus
