Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Berkshire | SL6
Duration: 6 months contract
Hours: 40hrs per week, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Rate: £15.00p/h PAYE

We are looking for a temporary Accounts Assistant to work with a very busy Accounts Payable team and be based in the Berkshire Office.

Responsibilities:
· Distribute / deal with post received by email
· Enter / amend bank details on accounts system
· Request documentation as necessary for confirmation of bank details
· Update accounts system for suppliers in administration or liquidation
· Update accounts system with any amendments to the address book, such as address, telephone numbers, VAT number and email addresses.
· Deal / communicate queries by email and phone to both suppliers and staff
· Load / create payments on to the banking platform (large volume)
· Ensure all documentation is saved in the correct folders
· Reconcile and deal with any queries on cash book debtor suspense accounts
· Cover team members as and when required
· Any other duties required by your line manager

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
· Must have good clear communication skills with a methodical approach
· Attention to detail is essential
· Be able to deal with large volumes with a fast turnaround
· Remain and calm and collected and not be panicked when under pressure
· Keen to learn and be challenged
· Positive attitude and strong character
· Takes ownership of output
