We are currently working with a reputable contractor in the New York area. They are seeking 2 Assistant Project Managers to support the Senior Project Managers in running projects from conception to completion. Our client have a strong presence in the New York market. They have worked on some commercial and residential projects with great client satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Project Manager, assist in the planning, organization, control, integration and completion of Katerra building projects.
Communicate effectively with cross disciplinary teams of architects, designers, engineers, manufacturing and estimating staff
Generates and organizes contracts & RFP's
Generates and maintains estimates, variance logs, and change orders
Tracks quality control reviews of deliverables
Tracks meeting minutes and action logs
Interfaces with designers, engineers, manufacturing, construction and more to resolve conflicting and or ambiguous design, cost, and constructability information
Updates billing and tracking
Assists in project forecast budgets


Required Skills & Experience

2-5 years of engineering, architectural, construction or project management experience in related markets
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent
Strong organizational skills. Candidate should be energized by working with different teams, both internal and external
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and teams concurrently. Comfortable learning new software platforms to track and organize project information
Technical background with understanding of building engineering and commercial projects. Prior experience in multifamily and mixed-use projects a plus.
Detailed knowledge of resource planning and financial planning
Proficient experience with management/ accounting software, i.e. Jira, Primavera, Smartsheets
Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills.
Positive attitude and ability to navigate in a fast pace environment
General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
Team player that's passionate about innovation and driven to optimize and build better buildings and products
