1st Step Solutions are looking for a Credit Controller/Payroll Assistant for 6 months maternity cover based in our Dartford office.

This is a Full time position, working hours are 9-5pm.

Credit Controller/Payroll Assistant Duties:

  • Cash Allocation
  • Banking
  • Credit Control
  • Raising Invoices
  • Dealing with customer account queries efficiently and effectively
  • Sending statements
  • Credit checks
  • Obtaining insurance limits
  • Sending credit forms to new clients
  • Inputting timesheets
  • Dealing with payroll queries
  • Creating and checking payroll reports
  • Assisting in the processing of weekly temp payroll
  • Assisting with day to day administration and any other assigned tasks set by the line manager

Credit Controller/Payroll Assistant Required Skills:

  • Computer literate with experience in excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • You will be confident and resilient with a can do attitude
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Held a post within an accounts department in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team but also independently
  • Tempaid experience an advantage but not essential
