Experienced Electrical Chargehand needed for an immediate requirement in Walsall. The ideal candidate must have experience of managing a team of Electricians.


Duties:
* To be responsible for the supervision of 6 electricians.
* Direct liaison with clients and sub-contractors.
* To supervise the installation and plant.
* Assign tasks to electricians and all operatives under your control.
* Be conversant with electrical specifications.
* Have organising qualities and the ability to forecast labour to programme requirements.
* Be methodical and have the ability to plan the best use of labour.
* Work to site programmes and document variations.
* Must have the knowledge of site safety and ensure that all employees under your jurisdiction follow the health and safety regulations.
* Should be able to judge the quality of work and plan installation.
* Ensure that operatives involved are familiar with risk assessments and method statements.
* Be responsible for all site equipment and ensure that the booking in and out of equipment is strictly adhered to and certificates are up to date, also weekly maintenance checks are carried out on all site equipment.
* Complete accident report forms and accident investigation forms, when applicable.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Gold JIB Card as a minimum.
* Ideally a SSSTS and Supervisor CSCS card.
* Recent references confirming similar duties.
* Proof of your right to work in the UK.
