1st Step Solutions are currently recruiting for Approved Electricians, Electricians and Registered Electricians for a national Mechanical and Electrical contractor on a project near Theale / Reading, Berkshire.

The project has been ongoing for four years and has a further two years until completion. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates in the Reading / Berkshire area if you wish to secure permanent work in these uncertain times.

You will be engaged directly by the client on a full-time contract of Employment under JIB rules and conditions, there are a number of shift patterns available, however most will include 37.5 Hours at the JIB national rate appropriate for your grade, and 12.5 hours at time and a half, as well as a productivity bonus specific to this project. In addition, you will be eligible to receive a contributory pension scheme, Bupa healthcare and Insurance package, 24 Days Holiday and Public Holidays

Works will include containment, lighting, first and second fix, power and distribution boards, and much of the work is at a high level and IPAF competencies will be required.

  • A Current IPAF 3a and 3b competencies. (scissor and boom)
