We are looking for mechanical mates & mechanical installers to work with our client, a national, specialist M&E contractor on a commercial project at Gloucester Quays.

Start Date: December 2020/ Early January 2021

Location: Gloucester (GL1)

Duration: 5-6 months +

Hours 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, however as the client traditionally does a 43 hour week, overtime is paid in line of industry rates.

Project: Working as a mechanical mate / mechanical installer on a commercial project in Gloucester (GL1). Work will consist of making up brackets so that pipework can be attached, assisting the plumbers and pipefitters with traditional screwed pipework and soldered copper installations. This will suit anyone with part skills right up to someone that is almost fully qualified.

Mechanical mate pay rates (PAYE): £10.25 per hour PAYE plus holiday pay up to 37.5 hours + £14.44 per hour after 37.5 hours plus holiday pay.

Mechanical installer pay rates (PAYE): £12.16 per hour PAYE plus holiday pay up to 37.5 hours + £17.15 per hour after 37.5 hours plus holiday pay.

Site hours: Initially the Project will run off a 37.5 hour week (normally the client operates a 43 hour week)

Qualifications required: a valid CSCS card
