1st Step Solutions (M&E Recruitment Specialists) are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to work with our client, a market leading M&E contractor on a commercial project in Oxford.

Required: Mechanical Supervisor x1

Position: Freelance/temporary contract

Location: Oxford

Start Date: end of April 2021

Quals required: CSCS Card & SSSTS

Relevant experience: previously worked on building services (eg schools, offices, universities etc) projects as a Supervisor or Chargehand

Duties: Working on a commercial refit, overseeing H&S, materials, productivity and sub-contractors' performance

Working hours: 4pm start during the week and dayshifts on weekends

Shifts: Typically working 4shifts p/w and then handing over responsibility to the other Supervisor, the majority of the work will be completed outside of office hours.

Mechanical Supervisor - PAYE Pay Rates

(please note this contractor will not accept CIS or Limited Company payments due to IR35 Legislation changes. Holiday pay can be paid weekly if requested)

Evening/Nightshift: Mon to Friday (up to 7.5hrs p/shift): £23.60p/hr (+ £3.30p/hr Holiday accrual). Mon to Friday (after 7.5hrs p/shift): £26.57p/hr (+ £3.73p/hr Holiday accrual). Weekends: £35.42p/hr (+ £4.97p/hr Holiday accrual).

Days: Mon to Friday (up to up to 7.5hrs p/shift): £17.71p/hr (+ £2.49p/hr Holiday accrual). Mon to Friday (after 7.5hrs p/shift) & Saturday (1st 6hrs): £26.57p/hr (+ £3.73p/hr Holiday accrual). Saturday (after 1st 6hrs) & Sunday: £35.42p/hr (+ £4.97p/hr Holiday accrual).
