This M&E Sub contractor design and install service to various large scale projects, from University Dormitories to high end private dwellings. As part of these multi million pound projects we include a contractual defects warranty period. This is managed and controlled by a small Aftercare team consisting of Manager, Co-ordinator, administrator and a small team of mobile multi skilled engineers.

Mobile aftercare engineers responsibilities

The engineer will be a polite, courteous individual who will have the technical ability and experience to fault find, organise and resolve defects within various properties within the North region.

Preferred experience includes.
* Electrically qualified
* An understanding of FCU and heating systems
* An understanding of general plumbing and drainage
* A sound knowledge of building services

There will be shortly approximately 2000 homes with defects to cover. These homes will be a mixture of styles and specifications, ranging from student accommodation up to multi million pound penthouses.

Jobs will be issued to you through our electronic system, the task will be explained within the job ticket, you will attend the address at an agreed date and time to review the reported defect, identify the fault and either repair or make the required arrangements to return with the parts or advise the office of what is required.

You will be required to supply electronic reports via a company issued electronic device.

You will be issued with all of the specialist tools required to carry out the role. You will be issued with corporate clothing and be provided with mobile phone for business use.

You will be issued with a sign written van and paid fuel.

You will be offered training in various specialist items and you will be given the opportunity to visit the projects during the build stage to learn the site and ask the teams regarding site specific plant.

On completion of each project there will be a handover meeting with the Aftercare Manager and site representative and further questions and site issues can be discussed.
