Position: Project Manager
1st Step is now working with one of the largest Construction Management Companies in the Denver area. They provides construction management services for both public and private sector clients on a broad variety of projects. Their core project expertise includes schools, hospitals, transit facilities, airports, parking structures, sports, commercial and industrial facilities.
There they typically break a project down into four phases: programming, design, bidding and construction. They provide value added services to their clients through each phase of a project including the following:
Responsibilities may include overseeing elements of the design and construction processes. Part of this preparation includes developing, organizing and reviewing building plans, as well as preparing construction contracts for contractors. Ensure that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards. Monitor progress during construction and ascertain whether phases of the construction process follow building plans and project deadlines.Works with the client and contractors to develop plans, set schedules and timelines, and complete projects according to time and budget expectations. Must have excellent time management, problem-solving, and personnel management skills to successfully balance client needs, contractor schedules, and construction regulations to successfully execute building projects.
