Senior Project Manager

This role will be for the Disney Adventure Park Project in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Responsibilities

This position provides overall administrative direction for one large or several smaller projects and assuming responsibility for the overall project performance including costs, schedule, quality and project status. This position involves subcontract negotiations, liaison with owners, engineers and sub trades and management of the technical and financial aspects of the contract.

* Oversee operations of the Superintendents and Project Engineers
* Maintain excellent relationships with owner, architect, consultants, subcontractors and
* Establish project reporting procedures
* Develop and monitor the project schedule and budget
* Establish construction plans and engineering methods
* Negotiate issues of subcontracts and major purchase orders
* Understand and enforce contractual responsibilities, contract documents and provide
dispute resolution
* Handle all change orders, including negotiating, processing and assessing cost and
schedule impacts
* Prepare/verify and monitor progress billings to owner and from subcontractors
* Review productivity planning and monitoring
* Provide performance status reports regarding cost forecast, schedule and safety
* Supervise, mentor coach and train project employees
* Ensure project profitability
* Engage in all facets of project close-out


* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Construction
Engineering, Architectural Engineering or equivalent degree
* 5+ years of proven experience in project management from project pursuit to project close-
out, overseeing commercial construction projects (hard bid and/or negotiated)
* High Rise project management experience is a PLUS
* Theme Park experience is a PLUS
* Leadership, problem solving, organizational ability, customer service and communication
skills are required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new software programs
