Strong Site Management professional required for an established building envelope contractor to be based on complex projects around the Berkshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-level professional to continue their career with one of the heavyweight organisations in the industry who can offer exposure to the most exciting projects in the capital.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Day-to-day duties:
- Implement and maintain best practice in on-site operations
- Labour management for the site, ensuring adequate resources are available to deliver the project in accordance with the client's agreed specifications
- Maintain updated record of building contracts and keep track of project requirements with regards to design, materials and labour
- Assess risk areas and to report this to senior management accordingly
- Ensure all records are maintained accurately and reports are issued in line with company protocol

Health & Safety, Quality and Environment:
- Maintain a high profile within each for health & safety and environmental concerns and to promote a genuine "safety" culture on site;
- Daily responsibility for ensuring staff compliance and all sub-contracted construction staff working with the company

The successful candidate will have:

- Good basic standard of general literacy and numeracy;
- IT literate; proficiency using key software systems including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project;
- Minimum three years' experience within the Building Envelope industry, including Roofing and Cladding construction - Valid SMSTS required
- Experience of managing or supervising labour personnel, including subcontracted labour
- Excellent working knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Basic working knowledge of environmental regulations and legislation
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
