1st Step Solutions are excited to be working alongside a rapidly growing construction company who are looking to add a Site Manager to their team.
The ideal candidate would be based in South London as you will be required to visit multiple sites in the area (Croydon, Mitcham, Bromley) and spend time in Head Office based in Orpington.
This role would be perfect for a new Site Manager or Supervisor looking to step into Site Management.
* Manage multiple construction projects from conception through to completion.
* Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
* Review Health and Safety compliance.
* Organise operatives and sub-contractors on site.
* Procure materials and equipment.
* Meet timelines and update on progress daily.
* Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
* Effective planning and execution.
* Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences
* SMSTS and/or Construction Management qualifications.
* Previous experience in construction management.
* Expert knowledge of construction management processes and methods.
* Strong knowledge of Building regulations and quality standards.
* Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
* Familiarity with construction management software packages.
* Ability to plan ahead.
* Competent in conflict resolution and crisis management.
* Excellent time and project management skills.
