Supporting Hydration and Humanity: Our Partnership with AquAid

At 1st Step Solutions, we understand that keeping our team hydrated is essential for maintaining focus, energy, and productivity throughout the workday. That’s why we’ve chosen to invest in watercoolers from AquAid.

But this partnership offers more than just hydration. Through our collaboration with AquAid, we’re proud to be contributing to a much larger mission. With every watercooler purchase, an automatic donation is made to The Africa Trust, helping fund the installation of sustainable water solutions in communities that need them most.

We’re excited to share that one such water pump, an Elephant Pump is currently being installed in Africa on our behalf. This ingenious device, based on a traditional Chinese rope pulley system, will provide clean, safe drinking water to an entire village. Our organisation’s name will be proudly displayed on the pump, and we look forward to receiving and sharing a photo and thank-you letter from the community in the near future.

To date, AquAid has helped install over 10,000 Elephant Pumps across Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, donating more than £22 million to charitable causes.
