1st Step Solutions are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer in the Hampshire area on behalf of an established Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Heating Contractor. Due to expansion within the business, this role will be mainly working on domestic projects, but will require some working within the commercial arm of the business when required. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carry out planned and reactive service, maintenance, installation, and repair on domestic projects
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across a wide range of equipment
• Work on systems including water chillers, air-cooled and water-cooled systems, cold rooms, and commercial refrigeration plan
• Complete detailed fault-finding, performance analysis, and system optimisation
• Carry out refrigerant handling, leak detection, and F-Gas compliance tasks
• Attend breakdowns and deliver effective repair solutions independently
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and junior engineers where required
• Complete accurate service reports, worksheets, and compliance documentation
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations
• Domestic work will be based locally to GU46, whereas commercial work aims to service clients within a 150-mile radius

Skills and Experience Required:

• An industry relevant City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• F-Gas Certification
• Full UK Driving License
