Maintenance Technician / Handy Person

1st Step Solutions are supporting one of our clients who have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician/Handyman to join their growing team based in London.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled maintenance technician to join our client on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role, essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of office fit-out projects. You will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Performing a variety of maintenance tasks related to office fitouts,
* General repairs and maintenance
* Painting and decorating (touch-ups and minor works)
* Basic plumbing tasks
* Basic electrical tasks
* Assisting with the installation
* Always following health and safety regulations.
* Other general maintenance and odd jobs as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar maintenance role.
* CSCS card
* Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential but advantageous):
* Experience in office fit-out environments.
* Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
* First Aid certification.
