1st Step Solutions are looking for an experienced Rail Site Engineer to start a new project in the Cotswolds on 1st October 2018.

A valid PTS is essential. You must be experienced in rail work, mainly the setting out of station platforms. Ideally the right candidate would have their own setting out equipment. You must also hold the correct insurances for Setting Out if you are self-employed.

Works will involve the setting our of EPS (Megatech Platforms) and the adjustments of coping stones and rail wraps. You will be required to start on site on 1st October, which is a week before the project starts, to work alongside the clients existing engineer to get up to speed.

We are also looking for a second engineer to work on an as required basis to support the existing two engineers when we have more than one operation going on at the same.

The works will last approximately 6 months, working over 12 station platforms. You will also be required to cover a 3 shift rota during a planned blockade in mid-November.

Start date - 01/10/2018

Rate - £300 per day
Duration - 6 months

Location - Cotswolds and surrounding areas

You must be able to provide proof of your industry cards, a minimum of two references where you have performed a similar duties civil or industry along with proof of right to work in the UK (either a Passport or VISA/Biometric Card)
