Electrical Supervisor

1st Step Solutions are supporting one of our clients who have an opportunity for a Electrical Supervisor/Manager based in London.

Job Overview:
Help drive site delivery across key projects. This role suits someone who's not afraid to get stuck in balancing time on the tools, managing small teams, and taking responsibility for paperwork, safety, and progress reporting. You'll need to be organised, proactive, and a strong communicator.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage small teams (typically 4-5 operatives) on site, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
* Direct and coordinate electrical operatives on site ensuring task clarity, quality, and progress.
* Balance time between desk-based duties (materials ordering, RAMS, reporting, paperwork) and site presence, pushing work forward and solving problems on the ground.
* Take ownership of on-site health & safety, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
* Manage daily and weekly planning of works, aligning site activities with the overall programme.
* Be ready and willing to support wherever needed, this is a roll-up-your-sleeves role that covers a bit of everything.
* Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider team to keep everything moving.

Requirements:
* Strong mechanical background with experience supervising or managing sites.
* Good with paperwork, comfortable ordering materials, producing RAMS, tracking progress.
* Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of your work and your team.
* A clear communicator who's comfortable being honest and constructive about site progress.
* Organised, reliable, and able to juggle on-site supervision with office-based responsibilities.
* A team player who leads by example and supports those around them.
