About the Role
1st Step Solutions (M&E Recruitment Specialists)
We are recruiting for Electricians & Electrical Improvers for the following long-term project in Cornwall
Required: Electricians
Location: Newquay (TR8)
Duration: at least 2years, more likely 3years.
Start Date: As soon as possible, security clearance takes around 6-8weeks
Site is open: 7.30am – 8.00pm Mon – Thursday, 2.30pm finish Fridays (55hrs). There is also some adhoc weekend hours.
Duties: Commercial project – lighting, wiring, containment, conduits etc
Qualifications: ECS Gold Card. Site also required the CITB H&S eLearning Course (or equivalent) which the client will pay for.
Electrician - Pay Rates (CIS)
Mon-Friday (up to 43hrs): £28p/hr
Mon-Friday (after 43hrs) & Weekends: £42p/hr
Should you work the full weekday hours, gross pay is £1,708.00p/w (take home pay £1,350.40p/w). Weekday Rate on 55hrs averages out at £31.05p/hr.
We are also looking for Electrical Mates / Improvers (CIS Payments aren’t available for Electrical Mates/Improvers on this project)
If you have current Security Clearance and not local - The client/contractor will also consider paying £371.63p/w towards Lodging Costs (weekly receipts/evidence will be required)
